Bought can-Am defender Limited back in May and Ive literally had it for about a month total and its been in the shop most the time last time is it almost 3 months now its back in because the roof is coming off which I found out its only held in with double face tape it has been in there since the first week of August now were almost into the second week of October keep making payments but dont have my side-by-side where is the experience Ive ever had have Yamahas taken to the Yamaha dealer theyre in and out in a week not with Can-Am

Bought a bike and it has differential issues from day one the dealer told me to ride it until it brakes and then they will fix it and now it is my issue performance power sports says it is out of warranty

Horrible customer service!!!

Customer service either unable or unwilling to help resolve a service issue. Bought a new can am in 2021 and starting to regret my decision!!! Love the quad, hate the customer service.

Mechanical problem not covered on warranty

I bought a 2022 Can Am Outlander 570 new. After having machine for 7 months the fuel pump went out. The machine had less than 500 miles on it(483). Can Am would not repair or replace the part. I had to pay the entire bill for new fuel pump and labor to put it in. Totally discouraged with the machine that is supposed to be top of the line four- wheeler.

Rediculas customer service at bot BRP and the dealership

I'm so disappointed with your company,its almost beyond words. I've owned Skidoos since the early 70's (being from Maine).

and was always more than happy with your product and service. ThBuy Buy anything other than BRPat is until now! I've been waiting six weeks for my Spyder to be repaired. It needs a sprocket and a bolt, they told me it would be up to three more weeks before the bolt arrives.

When I called customer service, the operator was rude and very condescending. I believe I've made a big mistake: while waiting for my Spyder, I bought a new Ryker.

If I had known, this is your idea of customer service, I'd have bought anything other than a BRP product. I'm ready to update my side by side and at this point I can guarantee it wont be another of yours.

2022 Turbo x xrc ordered January 28 2022. It's now October 2022

The dealer told us the bike would be there in March 2022. The bike came in but there was missing electronics. At that point we was told 120 days max. That time frame passed and 2 of 3 parts came on . We still waiting on a chip for a 2022 xrc. But yall have the audacity to sell 2023's ! I guess the customers that paid $10,000 down and $506 a month is ok to be put on the back burner. Focus on getting the bikes that is being paid for out to your customers and quit trying to take more orders.

2022 Outlander 850 XMR

I got 60 hours on my 850 just did the oil change. Had it idling while i went inside for 20 mins come back outside to find my 850 was off not running.

Tried to start it and the screen said limp mode then smelt something burning. Walked around and saw it was pouring coolant and what looked like oil out of radiator.

Pushed it on trailer and took to nearest dealership its been there over a month and not being told anything other then my warranty expired 20 days before this happened. Then they called me a week or so later to accuse me of putting something in my radiator everything on my 850 is from the manufacture only thing iv done to it is the oil change nothing else.

I bought a 70 for my six year old son and had it in the garage all winter. Hes rode it a total of 2 to 3 miles. I was in the garage and oil had poured out of it on my floor. I took it to the nearest dealer and the certified mechanic told me I had a lemon that it was put together wrong and the dealer should make it good. The gas line and oill line was routed wrong which could have messed the engine up. I want my money back and will repurchase him another. This little machine would barely push in neutral. I cannot accept this damaged product back due to your dealers error.

Replies to email from BRP Customer Service have no relevant information or helpful recourse. 2022 Can-am Spyder RT-L trailer hitch combos have been on backorder since early spring and still no product or information has been forthcoming. Customer service simply replies they have no information and to contact the dealer, Who of course has no information as well. Freedom Trailer I purchased is rendered useless.

AC quit

2021 CanAm Defender 3JBUVAX45MK001115 a/c quit. Used a/c once last year. Turned on this year; worked for a few minutes, then the warning light went on. Wasn't able to locate unit myself. Took it in to dealership. Fixed it for $219.94. Stated valve was loose, no freon in system. My concern: valve probably was loose at purchase. Will this be a recurring issue? This shouldn't have happened as it was new; not used often. I do know of another owner who had the same isssue with his 2021 Can Am. Is there a monetary compensation available for me?

This is the same issue I am having. I was also told the exact same thing.

It has been repaired twice and just happened again this weekend. I told them it was an ongoing issue and should be covered under warranty.

I was told there is nothing more they can do. Also, the driver side switch for the passenger window has failed twice.

Part backorder excessive

Since the beginning of this year we have had a trailer hitch for the 2022 Spyder RTL on backorder. The dealership has no explanation or expected delivery date and BRP customer service is no help; only advising to contact the dealer who again is not able to get any definitive information other than earlier model units will not fit. Can-am says only their freedom trailer will not void the warrantee and then after purchasing their trailer they cannot supply the hitch making the trailer a useless expense with no help from the company.

User's recommendation: Don’t purchase a CanAm. Buy a Ranger or Kawasaki, as they have customer service and support.
