Over this past weekend my wife and I purchased a 2021 Can-Am side by side (Commander). We drove 5 hrs to Twin County Motor Sports in Rocky Mount NC.
I am very disappointed in the dealership and the service I received. After driving 5 hrs, I would have hoped that everything was ready, serviced and looked over by the dealership/Service Management team before it was purchased and left the lot. As the sales guy and I were going over the side by side there was a wire hanging, I asked what the wire was and the sales guy called out the young guy in parts and service (maybe 17 yrs old) who had no idea what the wire was and stated "oh it might be part of the computer system". It was daylight out and didn't notice the lights.
At this point, I was so frustrated not only with this issue but the sales guy and $18,000.00 later, there could have been a tank of gas or maybe a key ring (sales guy hands me this 1 little key with no ring). I know of past vehicles I have purchased the dealership at least gives you a key ring and a tank of gas or some type of gratitude for my purchase. Back to my side by side, brand new (never been driven) as I came home 5 hrs later and pulled it off my trailer, I started it and went to turn the headlights on and guess what, they do not work. So now I have a brand new Can-Am side by side that has no working headlights, I do not feel like I need to work on this to figure these headlights out that should have already been done.
I wanted to reach out to let you know the type of sales on your product this dealership is putting out there. I am a firm believer in quality control and feel this review may assist in your further sales force of your product. I did not go to the internet with my complaint and review, I am coming straight to you and truly hope this does not fall on deaf ears. I will not be recommending this dealership to anyone.
I drove to far on the road for 14 hours and very, very dissatisfied. I now have to drive 1 hour again to have these headlights looked at by an ATV dealership.
User's recommendation: Do a lot of research before you buy one and do not use this dealership.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
