I was charged for service that should have been covered under a recall

I am writing to file a complaint against BRP and Can Am of Winston Salem, NC. My 2017 Spyder lost propulsion as a result of the defective sprocket.

I had to pay a $220 towing bill to get the bike off the road. When we took it to the dealer for repair, they claimed the gear box was bad. If the gear box was bad, it was a result of the defective sprocket. They even charged me for the sprocket that was part of the recall.

The total charge for the repair was $4293.29 which in my opinion BRP Can Am should make good on this charge. I hope you will look into this matter as well as other failures related to this recall. I am sure other owners will probably experience some of the same types of charges.

I did call BRP and opened a case, but they seem very reluctant to look into the matter. Any help you can provide will be awesome.

Wrong parts sent with windshield install

Can Am - Wrong parts sent with windshield install
The directions for installing the windshield were horrible. The information was incomplete, the pictures unclear and almost impossible to figure out even after two people working for about two hours. Also, the wrong parts were included and the wrong advice. They gave the wrong drill bit size to get the screws to work. I have never seen worse instructions.

User's recommendation: Use a bigger drill. Don't use the pads between the windshield and frame. Or, have the company install it.

After 7045 miles my lower clutch rolls went. They would not cover it under warranty. They said it was a wearable item. I said so very 7000 miles I have to pay to get the lower clutch rebuilt. The clutch rolls go before the belt goes. This is so unacceptable to me. Please change your warranty on this part.

My complaint is my name is Steve Turner I don't appreciate it when I order something from you or my friend did anyways that it didn't get here and we found out it went to somewhere else and they don't have it anymore and I'm not going to get into any more involved we need him lost $6,000 on a trip they were going to in Oregon weather areas to go ride them I would like to know if you take $6,000 off one of your products and send it to me and we'll just do payments I want an outlander XMR send to me I don't think it's fair that my vacation gets screwed by you thank you

Massive problem with a dealership

Dropped my 4 wheeler off for a new key and ignition on the four wheeler, there was no inspection done on the four wheeler and had asked if they look over ever like belt oils I was told yes I pick it up and nothing was looked other then the ripped boot on the cv. I called to talk to a manager but and was supposed to get a call back on the next Tuesday but never did so I waited till the next Tuesday and never received a call so I showed up there on the Wednesday to actually talk to someone and we agreed Id drop it off and they would pay to fix it and Id pay for parts, I dropped it off on Friday and was told it was booked in and be in soon I didnt hear anything all week so I called Thursday and was told that the owner would call me on Friday, but I never received a phone call so I drove there after work to just pick it up and be done with that dealership in Prince George BC Canada.

All they did was look it over to tell me what was wrong but no work was done to it and now Im left with a 4 wheeler that I have to put back together because they took some of it apart and never fixed it so thank you can am for an amazing dealership thats out here in BC.

This company is representing you and not doing a good job of it, if I do not hear anything back from you by Monday I will be going public with this dealership that has your name on it, I have paperwork to prove everything by the dealer. I do hope we can come to an agreement of some sort about this problem because this is 110% unacceptable

I purchased a 2011 Jeep Patriot in February 2022 I have not even had this car on the road for a solid week yet without it going into a shop to be repaired.

Can Am Auto dealership in Port Huron Michigan sold me a faulty vehicle as is. Every other week something needs to be fixed or replaced for the vehicle to function properly. I'm all out of Money and patience with this car. Oh and they also told me upon purchase the vehicle manufactured in the United States, according to my insurance company it was manufactured in Canada and cannot be fully insured. I just want the dealership to make this right. Please Help

I have received a full refund. After I had to contact the manufacturer. They then contacted the dealership which then refunded my deposit in full.

Can Am - Ordering Status

I am confused, I paid money down to order my New 2022 Can-Am Outlander MAX XT 850 (Mossy Oak

Break-Up Country Camo) dated 2/9/22. In a follow-up email 3/1/22 with my dealer, I was told their preorder opens on the 9th.

We'll know then if we're allocated any and if we'll be able to order it then. If you want to check back with us next week, we can let you know if we were able to order it or not.

I really want to be able to ride it this spring or early summer.

Hot starting problems

I have a 2024 maverick 1000r. When it gets hot it will barely turn over. I have tried 3 new batteries and this has not helped. The dealer service reps are not really any help either. All they want is money. It starts and runs fine when cold.

ZERO Stars... but can't share with out 1.

(way to go trying to cover your *** Can-Am BRP, 1 is better than none- right?)

However; I give my dealer rep & tech 5 stars for their CS & Tech skills. *****

Purchased 2021 Ryker 600 March 2021- 1st time owning. It has been in the shop 7 times since, Most recent since before Christmas, and I still do NOT have fixed.

MOST impart due to Can-AM/ BRP seemingly does not want to LISTEN to the techs working on my bike. They want this / that tried first.

Or it sounds like it's this... Well, to those at Can-AM/ BRPyou need to LISTEN to those who are physically touching, hearing, seeing the issues. STOP sending the Tech's and customer through UNNECESSARY hoops and just get to the damn baby... what was requested the FIRST time!!!

And when a client has been waiting Weeks/ Months for corrections, you DON'T ship needed parts "standard" ground.

You OVERNIGHT it! That's customer service, that's showing your customers you appreciate their business and are Sorry for the inconveniences' one has experienced from the date of purchase (pretty much). AND a 1 yr warranty REALLY??? Is this because you KNOW your product is JUNK and buyers will have nothing but issues?

You don't believe in or Proud of your products? So, NEW - ECU, ECM and finally Wiring harness, leak repair, fuel gauge, and few more just with in the FIRST 9 months of ownership!! So if this had been NOT in warranty I would have spent approx. $2975 in parts and approx.

$1365 in labor (7 hrs. Calculated for the 7 times in shop-exact hrs. Unknown) so a total of $4340 before tax!!!

Is this what I should expect after your RIDICULOUS warranty time frame expires?

That's OVER 1/2 of what I spent to BUY it!!

Can-AM BRP would be showing great faith and save face by offering an extended 3 yr.

Factory warranty for all the headache, disappointed experience, & frustration in owning their product!! Since the 1 yr has pretty much been used up.

Broken can-am

Bought a can-am defender back in July of last year from a dealer in mclester, Oklahoma transmission went out took it back to them to get it fixed and they keep saying they don't have a transmission the guy that sold it to me Cody I talked to him about about a couple of months ago about making some type of trade and he ever called me back ever emailed me back it's that place is the worst customer service I have ever seen I have heard from other people saying the same thing Thank younono
